Frank Dombrowski Death – Obituary : 55-year-old Detroit firefighter, identified as Lt. Frank Dombrowski had reportedly been shot by a Cherokee driver. According to report, this shooting took place at a gas station on Monday after Lt. Frank Dombrowski had driven from his home in Rochester Hills and pulled into a Troy gas station, a white Jeep Cherokee driver had following him into the parking lot while they had traffic dispute.
The confrontation soon escalated between both men which led to the Cherokee pulling out a gun and shooting at Dombrowski, according to Troy police. The Cherokee driver ran off from the scene before he could get caught, but later turned himself in.
Lt. Dombrowski later died of his injuries from the shooting before he could get saved. This was announced by the officials Tuesday morning.
