A 13-year-old boy, identified as Jaryan Elliot was shot and killed when he stood outside Angels Café with a friend on East 187th Street in the Bronx’s Belmont neighborhood at around 3.15pm. on Sunday.
Authorities say Jaryan was among three people killed in a spate of six shootings in the span of 14 hours in New York City and the shooting could be a gang-related shooting,
After this gunman approached Jaryan in a black vehicle, and fired at him in broad daylight, hitting him once in the chest and once in the leg, he was rushed to the Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Another source reports that another shooting took place in Brooklyn which left three male victims, between 33 and 58 years old, suffering various gunshot wounds on Fulton Avenue around 1.10am.
