Ernest B. Cannon Death – Obituary

A man, Ernest B. Cannon, of Louis was killed after being involved in an accident in West Alton on Monday.


Missouri officials say, a 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage driven by Brandi Vaughn, 46, of Cottage Hills, was driving north on U.S. 67 and collided with Cannon’s 1997 Buick Riviera that failed to stop at the intersection with Red School Road, at 4:20 p.m. on Monday.


A 2020 Ford F-150 driven by Christopher Phelps, 57, of Moro was stopped at the intersection and struck Cannon’s vehicle.


Cannon was pronounced dead at Jewish Barnes Hospital early Tuesday morning because of injuries suffered in the accident.
