Authorities say one person was killed and another person was injured in a shooting in the Bronx early this morning.

According to officials, EMS were called to the scene at 1224 Morris Ave. around 4 a.m. They say two people were found shot.

Officials say one person was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victim was taken to an area hospital.

The investigation remains ongoing.
