MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman shot and killed at a Memphis Walgreens has been identified as Juanita Washington, 60.

The shooting happened Wednesday afternoon at a Walgreens in Parkway Village on S. Perkins.

Washington was the head administrator at LYE Academy in Memphis, according to a Facebook post.

LYE Academy has posted tributes from students to their Facebook platform.

Memphis police said the alleged gunman sped off in a white van.
