Joanne M. Italiano, 85, of Indio, California passed away January 6, 2022 in Indio, California of Cancer. She was born September 23, 1936, to Joseph Busico and Josephine Busico in Youngstown, Ohio.

She married John J. Italiano on February 20, 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio. She was a Business owner with husband in construction and aviation. She is survived by husband John J. Italiano, Indio, California, two Children; daughter Jolene Italiano Cardiel and son James J. Italiano. She is also survived by five Grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren.

She was a dedicated wonderful wife and mother. She passed away peacefully at home, with family at her side.

In national newspapers an obituary (obit for short) is a news article that reports the recent death of a prominent person. Although it tends to focus on positive aspects of the subject’s life this is not always the case. A necrology is a register or list of records of the deaths of people related to a particular organization, group or field, which may only contain the sparsest details, or small obituaries. Historical necrologies can be important sources of information.
