The cause of death is said to be COVID-19. ”The KPD extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of @knoxsheriffWarrants Officer Toby Keiser, who recently passed away due to complications from COVID-19. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to the Knoxville community. May he never be forgotten.”  @Knoxville_PD announced the passing of Keiser on social media on 19th January, 2021.
